Thought for the Day – Made a list
I have been contemplating step 8 and I noticed this quote in the 12×12 for the first time.
What an amazingly novel idea. Take the list of defects to God and ask to be shown how each defect warped my character and harmed and continues to harm me and others.
This character is being built over time based on circumstance, faulty data and perception influenced by the family disease of alcoholism. This continues if I use my negative thoughts and reactive emotions to be the Lord for my own life.

Left to my own devices, are new harms inevitable?

God, please help me see how I lord over my actions.
