Thought for the Day – “The paralysis of analysis”
Sorry for the hiatus for those of you that missed these.
I currently have a couple friends I am talking to and the same thing appears to be happening with both of them.
God is so great. I am shown myself through communication with others. It’s proof that ‘self-centeredness’ is an asset when God brings it into balance.
My job is to “polish the mirror” so that they experience of others can teach me about my self.
Because worship and faith in self (thoughts and feelings) is the Lord of my life, I am convinced that I can “figure it out”, whatever “it” is.
If I am willing and able to look at the truth and my track record, this has never, ever worked.
By taking actions that are contrary to self, I get to have a new experience and get un-stuck.
Contemplation for the Day
Am I stuck in trying to ‘figure it out’?
What actions can I take instead?
Prayer for the Day
God, please help me be with you all day today.
